Service Points Record

Service Points are our system of recording debaters' service to the society. In order to get University funding to attend Australs and Worlds, debaters must achieve a certain number of points as listed on the spreadsheet. Fill in points you have accrued on the Service Points Form, and check your status on the Service Points Record.

Training Resources

If you're looking for training resources to help with your debating skills, below is a great start for resources we have used in our society in the past, and for practice topics that have been at past tournaments. If you're looking for video seminars, our friends at the Monash Association of Debaters have some excellent videos to get you help. There are also a plethora of debating videos from past Easters, Australs and particularly Worlds tournaments to see how these tournaments work; search YouTube for any of those terms, or have a look at our (non-extensive) list below. 

We run matter & skills seminars throughout the semester at our Internals sessions. Find out when they are playing at our Facebook. We upload seminar files to our members' resource site. If you are a member, please contact Exec for the member login details.
